Customize columns?

Steve

Hi,

(OS X 10.4.9, Entourage 2004)

Every time I subscribe to a new newsgroup I always do the following:

Hide Project, Conversation and Categories columns and turn off 'Show in
groups'

Is there a way I can save this view setting or get Entourage to do this
automatically?

Thanks.

Try using 3 pane view. Under View in the menu bar select Preview Pane on the
right.

Any subfolders you make will have the same column set-up as its parent. For
example, set up your Inbox how you want it, then when you create new
folders, it will inherit the settings.

I use that already.

I think you misread my post - I want to change the default columns for
*newsgroups*.

Any newsgroups automatically get put under the appropriate account. If I
select that, there is just a list of newsgroups; View Preview Pane is
disabled.

Thanks anyway.

Can you send me a screen shot? I just don't get what you are explaining.
