Customize highlight tool colors?

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Is there a way to change the default colors in the Highlight tool? (Formatting Palette / Font / Highlight)
- I have tried Toolbox Settings, changing the document Theme colors, and changing default Theme colors
- I tried Word Preferences (all of it)
I looked at System Preferences (same)
I tried Finder, Library, Fonts, Colors, Word, etc. etc.
Lastly, I went into Applications - same routine, no luck.
If I can't change colors, I would settle for being able to change the default transparency.
I appreciate any suggestions.

Nope, what you see is what you get Use Help> Send Feedback if you'd like
to add your voice to the choir of others who'd like to see that changed in
Office 2011 -- I doubt it will happen in an update to 2008.
