Is it possible to allow a Team Member to modify the “Start†and “Finishâ€
dates on a tasks assigned or delegated to them in the Task View via PWA?

For example, I assign a task to a Team Member, but they are unable to start
or complete in the timeframe proposed. Can they “propose†a new date and
hours which are sent to the PM for approval?

You probably don't want to allow the Team Member to modify Start and
Finish, but you can certainly allow them to put in Actual Start and
Actual Finish.

To do so:

1. In Project Professional, open Enterprise Global.
2. Then Tools > Customize > Published fields. Select Actual Start and
Actual Finish and move them to "Fields in the Task View". Then
click on each and check the "Let resource change field".
3. Click on Set as Default (if you want it to default).
4. Save and close Enterprise Global, then close Project.
5. Republish any project assignments from Project Server that you want
the new fields in.
6. In PWA, log in as a user with Admin rights > Manage Views and
include the additional columns.
