Customize SharePoint template after service pack

We have customized the SharePoint template for project workspaces.
(Basically, we added a bunch of fields to the Issues list.) Now we're
ready to go to Project Server 2003 Service Pack 1. After we perform the
SP installation, do we need to recustomize the SharePoint template or
will the old customized template work with SP1?
