Customize Standard Toolbar

Scott Atheobody

Hi,

How do I customize the standard toolbar in Outlook. This
is when I compose an e-mail. I want the toolbar to have
the buttons I choose on their. But everytime I do it, it
always reverts back to a default version.

Arggh!

:)

Try renaming your outcmd.dat file to outcmd.old while Outlook is closed.
Outlook will rebuild the default toolbars the next time you open it. If
you're using Windows 2000 or XP, you'll need to search in hidden and
system folders to find the outcmd.dat file.

If, after doing this, your new customizations stick, you should make a
backup copy of your outcmd.dat file so you can restore it later if it
gets corrupted again.
