customize timescale to see AM/PM shifts

For a very important project, I am trying to use the Gantt chart in Project
2003 and customize the look to show one day tasks, divided by two resources
(one resource on the am shift, and one resource on the pm shift) and have the
time scale show the tasks show a daily schedule with resources assigned
showing AM assignments and PM assignments and visually showing the timescale
of AM and PM for each day. Does any body have any suggestions? I am
exhausted trying to figure this one out!

In a Gantt chart all you can do is format it to show every 4 hours or
hourly. You could get what you want using the Task Usage View, but you will
get hours of work as numbers rather than a Gantt View.
