Customized view keeps changing

I'm using Outlook 2003 and multiple times a day when I go into a folder
(deleted items, sent items, etc.) the view has changed. Instead of "From" I
have "To". I have to go into Customized Fields and change what appears
(remove From and add TO). Any idea what might be causing this kind of glitch
and how to fix?
