I am synching my Palm Tungsten T3 with Microsoft Outlook
2002, in a Windows 2000 environment.
On the handheld, in the Contacts application, I have
customized the category name of the Custom 1 user-defined
field. My text entries in that handheld field Hotsynch to
Outlook User Field 1 and vice versa, but Outlook will not
Hotsynch the category name itself -- it remains the
generic User Field 1. Is there a solution to this?
Please note, I am willing to manually synch the Outlook
Category name, but I can't see a way how.
Also, if you could show me a way to show User Field 1 in
the General Tab area of the Outlook Contact screen, that
would be fantastic. It currently shows only in the All
Fields Tab, under Miscellaneous fields, and All Contacts
fields.
