Customizing Contacts Fields Outlood\k 2000

Does anyone know how to change the properties of User
Field 1 from 'text' to a 'number' that is used with the
Contacts folder. I am using the User Field 1 to display a
four digit number. The way the default is set, my numbers
are displayed as 1234.000. I wish to lose the decimals.

You can't change the data type for a built-in field. That field is always a
text field. If you don't want to see decimal places, you'll have to remove
them from the data stored in that field.
