Customizing Desktop Alerts

Are you able to customize desktop alerts when you get a new email? I know you
are able to adjust the transparency and the amount of time it shows on your
screen, but can I adjust the size of the box, color, etc? I am wanting it to
be a small rectangular box and maybe just shows who it is from but not
necessarily shows the subject line and not any of the message. Am I asking
too much?

That is not possible but you could post it as a suggestion and they might
consider it for future versions (not Outlook 2007 though).
