Customizing Page Number formats

Has anyone figured out how to get intuitive page
numbering to work where the page number is displayed like
this: Page One, Page Two, etc etc INSTEAD of Page 1,
Page 2, etc, etc?

Is autotext the way to go? I can't figure out how to get
the auto text to spell out the number AND to get it to
recognize that fact that it is on page two... I am
looking for Word to recognize what page it is on on it's
own without haveing to insert TWO different auto text
entries.....
Thanks in advance for any advice!

Goerge,

I manually type Page and then use a PAGE field like this:

Page { PAGE \* Cardtext \* Caps }

The field code brackets are entered using CTRL+F9. Right
click and select update field to display the result.

Hi George

You could add the switches \* CardText \* FirstCap to the {PAGE} field by
hand, and insert the word "Page" before it.

Note, however, that the TOC and cross references will use the default page
number format for the section.

George,

FirstCap as Margaret suggested would return "Page Twenty-
one," Caps would return "Page Twenty-One." I don't know
which is preferred or correct. Probably Magaret's.
