Customizing Project Server Security Groups in WSS

Is it possible to change the default security applied to the WSS groups
created by Project Server? In our particular situation, we're interested in
changing the permissions of the Reader group so that they mirror the
permissions of the Team Member group.

I've determined that we can change the permissions of the Reader group after
a Site has been created and that those changes are retained even after
Synchronizing security between Project Server and WSS. What I would like to
do is customize the default security so that it applies to all newly created
WSS Sites. Based on some testing, it appears that the default security
settings are not stored as part of the WSS template.

Does anyone know how to modify the default secruity settings?

I have the same issue. I'm pretty sure it can be done but i don't know how.
