customizing the keyboard shortcuts

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Hi,
In Word for mac, one can customize the keyboard shortcuts via the Tools menu, but that option does not exist in PowerPoint for mac.

How do I customize the keyboard shortcuts in PowerPoint?

Sorry, custom keystrokes aren't available in any version of PowerPoint, Mac
or PC. In those versions that support macros the macros can be executed with
keystrokes but keystrokes cannot be assigned or reassigned directly to
commands.
