I am encountering the following problems:
1) Normally one can define / display properties on a UML
element. However, properties defined on a Dependency
association in a deployment diagram are not displayable
and the properties checkbox is not selectable in Display
Options. For example, I define a port property on a
dependency stereotyped as <<HTTP>> and the port property
cannot be displayed by using Display Options on the
dependency association.
2) How can a visual stereotype be defined to override a
default UML icon. Say, for example, you want to display a
network node but want to use a special Cisco icon.
Any good references to the innards of the UML stencil for
those who dare to customize it?
Thanks for your help.
