Customzing keyboard shortcuts

I know that it (most unfortunately) is not possible to change and add
keyboard shortcuts to any functions in ON. And what I need is NOT to insert
certain symbols but to be able to assign a kb shortcut to a function (eg. the
highlight function). Will that be a possibility in the final release of
ON2007? By the way, is it possible in some sort of way to make the text
marker tool bind the marking to the specific text, since when I change font
size or move the marked text, the marker does not "stick" to the text, which
results in it sort of "floating around" in a rather unhandy way.

I am using ON2007 beta now.

Aloha Michael,

Probably not natively but you might want to take a look at AutoHotKey which
would probably let you script that capability to a hotkey under the right
set of circumstances. http://www.autohotkey.com (it's free).
