Custon Forms not shown

A

AZ

We have moved a public folder (contacts) with a custom
form from Exchange and Outlook on NT to Ex2003 and
Outlook 2003.
Everthing seems to work fine, but after searching for a
contact (by normal search function) in the public folder
and oppening one of the results, the contact is not shown
with the customized form, but with the standard contact
form of outlook. We published the custom form to the
public folder in which also the contacts are stored.
What did we do wrong ?

You really should publish the form to the Organizational Forms Library in
the new Exchange. That is where it will look for the form by default. It
may be that the items are all looking for the form in the old
Exchange/folder and the IDs don't sync. So, after the form has been moved
to the Org Forms Library (with, perhaps, a new name), run one of the
utilities to change the form name to the new form name.

How did you perform the move? If you exported to a .pst file using ExMerge
or something similar, custom forms are not exported. You might need to
republish the form to the new folder.
