Cut and Past from poserpoint to Word

Hi, I'm running Powerpoint and Word for mac. When cut and pasting a slide from powerpoint into a word page, the resulting document shows some unreadeble letters when openned on a PC.Can you help? Thanks guy

Hi Guy,

Other than a memory warning in Word when trying to paste the slide, copying
from the thumbnail pane in PPT 2008 and pasting into Word 2008 works fine.
And opening the document in Win Word 2007 displays the slide correctly.

It is pasted as a picture FYI.

Are you using a previous version of Mac Office or Windows Office?

Thanks Matt, in fact I'm using Office Mac 2004. Would it be the reason why it doesn't work properly?
nb: When I bought my Mac in december 2007, I have also purchased an upgrade to Office Mac 2008. Do you know when I will be able to upgrade from 2004 to 2008?
