Cut and past pictures in word

Objective: Import graphic from file and copy and paste it to be in the same
position on multiple pages of the document. In other words, I want to place
the graphic in the upper left page of multiple pages.

1. I insert a jpeg image into word 2003 (this also applies to 97).
2. I then position it (absolute) .20 from right of page and (absolute) .20
from below page and anchor it.
3. I then copy and paste it on page 2 and it appears at .37 and .37.
4. I then paste it on page 3 and it appears at .53 and .53
5. I then paste it on page 4 and it appears at .70 and .70
6. And so on......

So I then have to reposition the graphics (all at once) to get it right.
What I would like is to have the graphic appear in the same place when I
paste it each time.

If anyone knows how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated!

Is there some reason you're not just anchoring this graphic to your header
paragraph? Then it would automatically repeat on each page.
