Cut and Paste from Access XP to Excel

I often cut & paste data from Access to Excel starting
with Access XP when you paste all data, including numbers,
is entered as text. I now have to do a Paste Special each
time & select CSV to get it to paste correctly. Are other
people seeing this and is there a better solution?
