cut, copy and paste

I am trying to populate a new web site with product
descriptions. I am copying product detail information
from a supplier's site and trying to paste the
information into my site.
I can copy the information but when I go to my site I
cannot paste it. The paste feature is not active via the
mouse or the edit button.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

You'll need to tell us what software you are trying to paste into. Unless
you're talking about some Office software you've come to the wrong
newsgroup. As written, it sounds like you're just trying to paste into a
web-page in your browser.

What programmes are you using, Larry - web page editor etc?

It reads like you are trying to paste into a page on-line!
