Cut/Paste graphics & text from Powerpoint to Word

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel I'm using Microsoft Office 2008 on my MacBook Pro. I've been trying to cut-n-paste a drawing with text from PowerPoint directly into a Word document, but the text is always fuzzier than the same text in the rest of the Word document - probably because it always ports over as a picture.

This strikes me as crazy, given that Office is supposed to be a fully integrated app. Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?

Hi Bill;

I'm a afraid I can't offer a solution because there simply isn't enough
detail about this "drawing with text"... we need to now just about
everything about it from start to finish in order to answer effectively.

One point to clarify, though, is that Office is absolutely not "a fully
integrated app". It is a suite of individual, standalone programs which are
designed to interact with & complement each other. They do share some common
'applets' but each program implements those features in somewhat different
ways.
