Cut & Paste html code into Frontpage

Having trouble when I paste some code from clipboard to a frontpage htm
file. The <>, etc, are copied wrong and I have to go back and manually edit
the file, almost to the point of a rewrite.
This is what it should look like:
<title>tima thinking outloud.</title>
This is how it is pasted:

&lt;title&gt;tima thinking
outloud.&lt;/title&gt;

It works in Dreamweaver and I'm sure it should work in Frontpage.

Any ideas on how to get this to work?

Thanks,
Greg

Place the insertion point where you want the code inserted IN NORMAL VIEW
and then choose Edit, Paste Special and select the "Treat as HTML" option.

FrontPage URL encodes anything that you paste into it. If you don't want
that to happen, you have to use Paste Special as indicated in my post.

Your're right. That works also. When I first looked at it, I thought it
added the code as well.

Thanks for the refresh.
