Normally, I have a database I've been updating from EXCEL by copying the
records from EXCEL, then pasting them into the ACCESS table.
Recently, however, it won't let me do this. It has begun giving me the
error message:
The data on the Clipboard is damaged, so Microsoft Office Access can't paste
it. There may be an error in the Clipboard, or there may not be enough free
memory. Try the operation again.
I've tried doing a reboot and doing it with only the EXCEL spreadsheet and
the ACCESS database open after the reboot. Still causes a problem. I have
no problem copy and pasting within EXCEL or within ACCESS, but if I try going
from EXCEL to ACCESS, I get this error message. Other Office applications do
not appear to be affected.
