Cutting and pasting slides

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I need to paste slides in to a file without them taking on the format of the other slides. In 2004 there was a preference for Keep design when copying slides. Where is that in 2008? I can copy some slides from another show and keep the format but I can't seem to copy and paste them once they have come into a new show and been edited.

Hello, in Office 2008 there is a feature called Smart Copy and Paste. When
you drag or paste slides over between presentations, you will see a small
Icon. Click that Icon and you will see the option to "Keep original slide
design."
