Cylindrical timeline help

Craig H. Parker

I am trying to create a simple timeline using the cylindrical shape.
Obviously I can use cylindrical milestones for singular events, but when
using brackets the lines from the brackets extend straight through the
cylindrical timeline. Is there any way to make the extension lines of the
brackets cylindrical just like the cylindrical milestones?

Thanks in advance.

I don't think so (though I could be wrong). Cosmetic issues like that are
what keep me using the rectangular timelines.

Drag a copy of the bracket shape to the drawing page, modify it and save it
back to a new stencil.

Do an Open Group on the shape (the last item in the Edit menu) and select
one of the dashed vertical lines. Changes it's Behaviour to 2-d and use the
arc tool to create a quarter curved line to the middle point and then create
a second quarter curved line to the bottom. Edit the new "D" shaped object
with the Shapesheet and remove the original vertical line. Repeat for the
other side.
