cyrillic fonts for Office v

Sabra Ayres

I am working on a new iBook G4 with Office v. I want to know how I can read
wordfiles and excels files sent to me in Russian cyrillic. Do I need to
download the fonts? When I open them, the fonts appear only as lines. Any
suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

You'll probably need to install the Russian Language option in Mac OS X -
that would be my first place to start

Yes, with Office 2004 you can.

You do need to install the keyb layout from MacOS X, but after this your are
set.
It is also compatible with Win file in Russian... If they use an Unicode
font available on both Mac and PC
