I used to be able to Lshift+alt from English to Czech on my old computer (Word 98).
I have a new computer with Word 2003 on it, can't find a way to set up the language
Do I need new czech proofing tools? Can anyone help? Thanks

If your previous system was running Word 98, then it was a Mac and, as this
group is for people using Windows, I'd doubt if anyone knows what you were
able to do. But, as far as Windows is concerned, you will need to purchase
Czech proofing tools.

If you have a PC, not a MAC, I can help you. You should be able to write in
Czech as before. I too use both English and Czech. I am assuming you also
have Windows XP. Proofing tools might be a problem, but we can solve that
too.
Before you do anything else, however, you should go to Regional
settings/Languages/Details and enable Czech as another language as well as
setting up a Czech Keyboard (QWERTY).

and if you get stuck with anything, you can write to me in either language

after removing the NO SPAM letters; should you be on the North American
continent, you can call me, but we'll leave that for later.
