D:/Recovery question

My pc stopped responding. I restarted it but it loaded the menu with options
to restart in Safe Mode or Last Known Configuration, etc. When I selected
these options nothing happened. I restarted, selected F10 and chose the
option to reload the recovery files from the D drive. Now I have my files
but none of my MS software is recognized. Office, Publisher, Excel, etc are
listed on the All Programs menu but they are not recognized as being on the C
drive. My files are all there, but loading them into the software (Word)
that came with my pc originally is a nightmare. Help!? Is my only option to
reload MS XP Pro?

Yes - reinstall Office - By recovering you put your PC back to factory
supplied configeration, its to be hoped your data is intact
