Dailer pops up when making changes to Contact

When modifying a contact's phone info, the dialer window
will appear. There no options set in Outlook or Windoes to
autmatically dial conatcts. If try to hit cancel on this
dialer window, it keeps re-appearing and either freezes
Outlook or crashed it. Anybody seen this hapepn before or
know how to fix it?
