Daily Task Notes in PWA (or MPP)

We're considering using PWA for our timesheet application, but am curious
if anyone has had experience w/ a solution to:

Enter daily notes against the timesheet:

i.e. enter four hours against a task on Wednesday 3/29, and then enter a
note referring to what was done during those four hours.

I could just keep all my notes in the task notes, but I don't want to generate
a report w/ all of the notes, just a report for notes referring to the days
w/ posted work within a given time span....i.e. if the billing period is
3/1-15, I can generate a report which will show all hours worked during that
time period and a blow by blow description of only the hours worked.

Thanks in advance.

Perhaps the 'Status Reports' feature in PWA might be a solution. You can
bring in the worksheet task and comment on them there.

Even though team members have the capability to report progress on a daily
basis, there is no way to link a Note to any one day of progress. The Note
is simply attached to the task assignment. What the team member could do is
to enter Actual Work on a task each day and then append the task Note with
the work done that day. An alternative approach would be to create a Word
template that could be used for documenting daily work. The team member
could then create a new Word document from that template, save it, and
upload it to the project's Document library and link the Word document to
the task. He/she could enter the daily notes there as well. None of these
solutions are perfect for your reporting needs; at best, they are
workarounds. Hope this helps.
