Daily Work notes in Timesheets

We use Project2007 in tied Timesheet mode. We would like users to be able
enter general progress comments against some tasks on a daily basis for later
use in generating activity notes for invoicing. This only seem possible by
adding a comments column to Timesheets and entering for the whole week. Is
there a better way?

Hi Mike,

the UI out of the box does not accomodate for your request. I believe the
database does. What that means is that you will have to develop a new UI
which allow you to optain comment per day.

Hi Marc,

Can you point me where I can find out how to develop a new UI? is there
someone who can do it for us?
Also Remaining Time (in the Timesheet page) could do with imporvement
a) show time in hours rather than days
b) add a mouseover note to the field to explain that the figure is BEFORE
entered timesheet hours as it is counterintuitive
