Yes, I am but another "newbie" to the DAP area. :c)
I have created my FIRST DAP rather successfully I think, however there are a
couple questions I have if you can be so kind as to help me out with.
Question #1:
The main objective for my DAP's is simply to provide data to staff members
via our company intranet. No additions, alterations, deletions accepted.
HOWEVER....I would like to provide a simplistic means for the user to filter
for the data they desire; and the Navigation bar is just not doing it for me.
Now we like the right click idea on a field and having the option to "Filter
For".... Is there anyway I can accomplish this sort of task on a DAP?
Question #2:
One other lil' snag I stumbled across is the fact that if I (the
administrator) has the data base open (which is like all the time), then the
DAP is unable to be accessed. What am I missing here? I want the users to
have access to CURRENT data at all times.
Thank you so much for your assistance and direction.
