I made an employee demog db in Access 2003 with DAP for key staff to enter
and view information on each employee.
The DAP makes a corresponding .html page.
We have a MS Small Business Server with workstations. The db is currently on
the server in a protected location.
Is it possible for the key staff to be able to access only limited .html
page(s) & linked reports in this file on the server, be able to view/edit/add
data in the db, and not be able to get into this db itself?
I asked our IT maintenance company (contracted out) and they questioned why
I used DAP and not forms (because I thought they looked better than forms)
for the db.
I hope I explained that correctly. This is my first post. Thanks for any help!
