DAP's, Macros, and Automatic E-mails

I have a DAP which I'm using at work to track IT Issues that users on a LAN
are having. I'm using Access 2000 and what I would ideally like is help with
the following:

When someone goes onto the DAP, I want to make a Save button on the page
which Saves the current record, triggering Access to send an e-mail to me to
let me know the database has been updated with a Report as an attachment. I
don't want users to have direct access to the DB though. Can anyone offer any
help? I've been coding and macro-ing for 3 weeks to no avail. Help! :D

I have no problem with the send object attaching the report in HTML format.
It's creating the Save button that will save the current record, and force
Access to run the SendObj anytime the database is updated.
