Dark images

When I insert the images in my web they look fine on my
home pc, but at work and other terminals they appear very
dark??

Different machines use different color settings. Your images may be using
more colors than their machines support. To be on the safe side, use 256
colors.

You may have monitor calibration issues. If only a few people were
complaining, I'd say it's there problems, but if it's everyone, maybe it's
you. If your display is significantly brighter than everyone else's, you
will see a disparity.

I did a Google for "monitor calibration" and this was the first hit:

There may be better procedures, but it's a start.

In addition to the contrast and brightness settings of each monitor, you can
also improve the contrast and brightness of your images also:
