DAT file missing a column when importing

When opening the attached file with the Excel 2003 it does not recognize the
4th carriage return.
Importing data does not recognize the null data column which is throwing off
data results.

Hi Maurice,
Check that the repeated delimiter is not automatically checked
when using delimited for your text import wizard invoked
during File, Open..

If you are not being asked then you have .csv as the file
extension and it would be best to change it .txt before importing.
Probably not a problem since our subject says DAT file.

This is a usage question not a setup question. the excel.misc
group would be more suitable.
