Data access page query criteria problem

Two problems.
I am trying to set up a data access page using a query criterion which uses
"Today". The query runs OK in Access (2000) but falls over in the DAP,
quoting "Today" as a problem. If I remove Today, the DAP runs, but gives
wrong information (clearly)
Second problem is getting DAP to display more than one record at a time in a
group view. Other threads talk of right-clicking page in Design view, and
choosing "Group.....", but A2k (or rather the version I have) does not appear
to have this as a right-click option. The current result is unsatisfactory.
Help, please, if you will.
Thanks in anticipation,
JMCS

What is "Today"? A function? A variable?

You can get the current date using Date() function.

Thank you for replying. It was actually the function Today() which works
quite happily in Access, but the data page didn't like. However, I took your
advice and replaced it with Date() - problem 1 solved - thank you! Can you
help with problem 2, please - the number of records viewable at any one time?

You can set the number of records to be shown by putting a desired value
into the MaxRecords property for the Page. Right-click on the page, select
Page Properties, and click on Data tab.

Thank you for responding.

Unfortunately, when I pull up the page Properties (in Design View), there is
no Data tag 9just Format, Other, All), so I cannot make the suggested change.
I guess this is a deficiency of version of Access 2000 the company has, and
will not resolvable until we upgrade.

Thank you for your time and trouble.

Apologies!

By setting up a page from scratch, the desired outcome was achieved! I
could not change an existing page.

Many thanks!!!
