I have a data access page that I created in a .mdb database file. The data
access page is stored on an MS sharepoint site & the access page in the .mdb
database is pointing to the correct MS sharepoint site.
The problem I am having is this: the data access page displays the data
from the table in the .mdb database upon opening, but if a user adds a record
to the data access page, the new data only saves in the access page & doesn't
update the table in the .mdb database. How do you get the new data that was
added to the data access page to append itself to the table in the .mdb file?
From my research, it looks like you have to synchronize the offline form to
the original database, but so far, I've seen that this option is only
available in a .adp file that has to be stored & accessing a SQL server
database.
Any advice/solution(s)/suggestions?
Thanks!
BTW, I am running MS Office 2003 PE
