Data Access Pages Page Breaks

I need to know how to add page breaks to my Data Access Pages, such as "PageBreakBefore" A section, based on criteria like whether that section is expanded. I have other code in place to expand all of the records on the page, I wanted to just tell it once it expands everything to also add the page break After that section, but if I add a line in there, HeaderOpenSummary.style.PageBreakAfter="Always" I get an error: HeaderOpenSummary.style is either null or not an object
Can anyone help
