Data Access Pages

Rob

Hi All,

I am having trouble with the above. I have created a
database, and then created a data access page and saved
it to my web site. The database is saved into a folder
on the web server. When I add the data access page with
FP 2002 the page appears.
However, when I access the page from the intranet site it
tells me that the database is in another domain!!
If I say I do want access to it it still will not let me
do anything with the data!!

Anyone had any experience with this?

What have I done wrong?

Many thanks,

Robin.

You might want to ask this question in the Microsoft Access newsgroup.

Yes, DAP use an ActiveX control to display data. There is an option in IE
to allow access of data sources across domains. It is likely that this
option is not enabled and that is causing the problem.

Database Results Wizard in FrontPage uses ASP and is not reliant on an
ActiveX control, but accessing data sources across domains still applies.
