Data Access Pages

Hi
I'm having a problem with Access2003 - Whenever I try to
create a new data access page, or view one in page view, I
get the following error:

'The data definition of this data access page has been
corrupted and can't be repaired'

I have re-installed Office 2003 and I still get this error.

The pages show up ok on other machines with Office 2003
installed.

Any ideas?

Hi Terry,

See the following:

and http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=251365 (use steps to
replace comcat.dll in the system32 folder)

also test in another database to see if it's a corrupted database that's
causing the errors.

Thanks for the info - I did try another database, same
problem.

I've since restored my system from an old ghost image I
made a few months ago and then installed Office 2003
fresh. Everything is back to normal. I'll look over the
page references you sent in case the problem ever reoccurs.
