Hi,

we have created some custom fields in MS Project Server, and I've tried to get them moved over to the Timesheet OLAP cube, as weel as tried to build my own new cube, but I am unable to get the new fields moved into the cube.

At the moment the workaround is a new view in the reporting database that have all the needed fields, and then we can do our reporting via Excel.

But I would of course prefer that users could fetch the data via the Data Anaylsis view, as this is somewhat easier to manage.

Great if you could share your ideas to how we could get custom fields into cubes, and thereby Data Analysis.

Thank you very much in advance.

Best regards,

Kristian

Ok, my fault! I should at least have read the last post in the forum first ;-)

From Marc Soester's answer it looks like it would only be possible to get data from fields with lookup lists, which I guess would make sense since it is pretty hard to report on free text fields...

Btw: Could someone point me to how I delete my own entries?

;-)

Have a great day!

Kristian
