Data Analysis View - data disappears

I'm trying to create a new view in Data Analysis in which i display the
Capacity and Work totals for resources monthly. I also wanted to filter the
resources by RBS. Whenever I choose to view all RBS, the report appears as I
would like it. however if I go to filter by an RBS value, the data values in
the Work total column disappear. The list of resources filters correctly to
match the value of the RBS that I selected but no data in the work column.
Capacity does contain values. I know that the resources contain work data
because if I remove the filter, I can see the values for those resources.

Am I missing something here in my understanding of the data and how to get
it to display this report?
