Data Analysis View Filter on Resource Group

Using Project Server 2007. I would like to use the Group column from the
Resource Table as a filter field in a Data Analysis view. I do not see the
Resource Group field in the field list. Is there a way to add it?

Hi Gary,

sorry to say, but not out of the box is the answer. What you could do is
create an extra Resource custom field and use this one. You will need to make
sure that the custom field contains a lookup table since only custom fields
with lookup table and flags can be used in the OLAP cubes.

The other alternative is to extend the OLAP cube programatically. If your
organisation has expertise in developing on Project Server and OLAP cubes, it
should be fairly easy to extend the Cubes.
