Data Analysis view = SQL Query?

In 2007, when you create a custom view for Datya Analysis, does that generate
an SQL Query? If so, is it possible to capture that query as a starting
point for a custom query?

Nope, what gets generated behind the scenes is Sql Analysis Services "MDX"
queries, which dont look much like Transact SQL at all.
