Data Auto Filter

When using Data Auto filter in Excel2008:mac, we cannot select individual options - This option is available in Excel 2008 for windows.
For Ex:- Cities:- Delhi, Tokyo, California, Washington.
We cannot select data pertaining to California and Washington only by using Data Auto Filter

Well, since there is no "Excel 2008 for Windows" I assume you mean 2007, and
if so you're correct if you're referring to the checkboxes for each unique
item in the column. The AutoFilter feature in Mac Excel 2008 is more
directly comparable to what's in Win Excel 2003 & prior. Win Excel 2007
offers a vastly new & expanded AutoFilter feature.

However, if you only need 2 items you can open the list for that column,
select Custom, then specify CA & WA there.

You might take a moment to use Help> Send Feedback to voice a request to MS
that similar capabilities be included in the next Mac release.
