Data Base Users

I have developed a multi-user application (MDB).
At times when I need to do maintenance, I want
to find out who are currently loggon (users).

Is there a "built-in" way of finding out who are
currently using an "MDB"/database file?

Is there a way of "kicking" users who are currently
using an "MDB"/database file; selectively or "all"?

Thanks,
Fred

You don't mention the version, but for 97 you can use ldbview.exe. It is
part of the jetutils download. See ACC: Microsoft Jet Utilities Available
in Download Center
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;176670

If 2000/2002 see
HOW TO: Check Who Logged into Database with Jet UserRoster in Access 2000
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;198755

Also Total Access Admin from FMS will give you this

To kick users out, there is a sample at
http://www.datastrat.com/Download2.html
called KickEmOff2K; also the Total Access Admin tool allows you to do this.
