Data calendar, where and how to retrieve data from Outlook

Hi to all!...I would implement a plug-in that permits to our clients
to update their web calendar with their Outlook calendar. In partcular
we use our web calendar developed with PHP and MySQL. So I'm looking
for some sites where I can find informations about the management of
data of Outlook. Where Outlook saves data and in which kind.
