When I try to connect Frontpage 2003 (using Sharepoint) to an Oracle db I'm
getting an error message. It doesn't seem to make any difference if I use the
standard connection info or try to configure a custom connection string I end
up getting the same error message:
Server Error: An erro occured while retrieving the list of Databases from
dbserver: The data retrieval service encountered an error during connection
to the data source.
Is there something I'm missing here? I have setup a DSN ODBC connection
(when tested it test ok). Do I need to set up some type of permissions on the
database server? I'm trying to user a user name & password for already set in
the database.
