I'm using a request/reject workflow for a purchase request form. The
requestor submitas the file to a WSS library and sends an email with a
link to the file to an approver.
The first request writes the file fine which also sends an emial to the
approver (2 data connections one to email, one to WSS. The second write
when the approver approves the purchase, also 2 data connections, one
to send email with link to the file and one to overwrite the file to
(ie: creating another version) I get the following "some rules were
not applied error:
"InfoPath cannot submit the form.
An error occurred while the form was being submitted.
The form cannot be submitted to the following location:
http://sharepoint/sites/eed/Purchase Request/Bob_2006-08-23_$151.58.xml
The file is in use by another application or user."
This is obviously saying the write didn't take.
Anyone have good reasons to explain theis behavoir? The data connection
specifies the file can be overwritten if existing.
